Designer/Lead Designer
The selected Designer/Lead Designer will lead the visual identity for all projects. (And most likely listen to math-rock at a tinnitus inspiring volume.)
Responsibilities:
• Design (ideally help develop) websites, microsites and mobile applications
• Ability to produce web-ready .PSDs
• Clear understanding of how to represent a brand with strategic design
• Commitment to [content-first]* design and code environment
• Many visual styles/font nerd
• Having enough of an ego to fight for a great idea but not so much that you have to be right
Qualifications:
• Candidates must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in design|code
• Documentation, browser compatibility, good form (in a Luke W. way.)
• Self-driven and able to be highly productive while working in a fast-paced startup environment

• Strong sense of professionalism and diplomacy; ability to balance the needs of clients while producing work that solves problems and represents the agency
• Happy to work with WordPress, Drupal or EE. Langauges required: .css, php/MySQL, .js

Responsibilities:
• Research and upload content for online portals
• Execute Social Media strategies for Eat Media and clients
• Manage a team of freelance writers, editors, proofreaders, video/audio producers and designers
• Write, edit and/or post daily and breaking news stories
• Execute research projects
• Perform thorough site QAs
Qualifications:
• Be a social media nerd
• Understand basic HTML/Wordpress
• Good editing skills and design eye
• Experience managing off-site editorial teams
• Interest in content strategy|UX
